Michael T. Stezowski Sr.

Michael T. Stezowski Sr., 62, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Michael was born on June 4, 1961, in South Haven, Michigan to Alfred and Grace (Burns) Stezowski.  He graduated from LC Mohr High School in South Haven, Michigan in 1979.

Michael was proud to serve his country in the United States Navy for 20 years and was a member of the Orland American Legion Post 423.

He worked at Hudson Industries, Hudson, Indiana, retiring after 21 years.

Michael is survived by his sons, Michael T. (Kelly) Stezowski Jr. of Hamilton, Indiana, Thomas (Rebecca) Stezowski of Garrett, Indiana and Matthew (Shantell) Stezowski of Angola, Indiana; his stepdaughters, Nicole Davila of Cary, North Carolina, Kimberly (Kenneth) Herbert Sr. of Richmond, Virginia and Jacki (Joseph) Johns of Waycross, Georgia and 13 grandchildren.  Also surviving are his siblings, Alfred A. (Jean) Stezowski of Plano, Arkansas, David Stezowski of south Haven, Michigan, Teresa Stezowski of Cromwell, Indiana, Betty Stezowski of Dowagiac, Michigan, Carol Jean (Cheryl) Stezowski of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Cindy Stezowski of Dowagiac, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Stezowski.

Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s memory to the Orland American Legion Post 423.
