Mildred Louise (Frank) Ireland

Mildred Louise Ireland, 85, of Angola, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Grand Vista Assisted Living Facility in Marshall, Michigan.

She was born on January 16, 1934 in Pettisville, Ohio to Sylvan Floyd Frank and Hazel Alice (Severence) Frank Loomis.  She married Don Edward Ireland on September 27, 1953.

Mildred was a homemaker, also worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Greg Barry for 15 years and retired from the Family Nutrition Program, Purdue University Extension office after 12 years of service.

She was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola.    She enjoyed volunteering at the Project Help Retail Store in Angola.  She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Surviving are her children, Kay Lorraine (George) Hirsch of Fort Wayne, Kristie Ann Krebs of Coldwater, Michigan, Wesley James Ireland of Angola and William Frank Ireland of Fremont.  Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Chanda (Steve) Lubbehusen, Brandon (Katie) Hirsch and Erin Hirsch and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Edward Ireland and a brother Glenn Richard Frank.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Fairview Missionary Church with Rev. Norman Fuller officiating.

Burial will be in Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 2-4 PM, Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Fairview Missionary Church, Angola, Indiana and from 10-11 AM on Monday, February 4, 2019 prior to the service at the church.
