Norma Milhollin Obituary

Norma E. Milhollin, 87, of Pleasant Lake died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at Lakeland Nursing Center in Angola. Mrs. Milhollin was a school teacher and had taught at Dunkirk, Scott Center, Pleasant Lake and Angola Middle School, all in Indiana. She retired from Angola Middle School in 1989. She graduated from Eaton High School in Eaton, Ind., and received a master's degree from Ball State University. Mrs. Milhollin was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola. She was also a member of the Red Hats, Psi Iota Psi Sorority and the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was born July 17, 1923 in Delaware County, Ind., to William P. and Elma (Taylor) Love. She married Julius Milhollin May 5, 1945. He died Dec. 4, 1984. Surviving are a son, Bill and Sue Milhollin of Angola; a daughter, Patty Mackey of Pleasant Lake; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lawrence Love and James Love; and two sisters, Louise Davis and Wilma Hartzell. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola with the Rev. Norman Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Eaton Cemetery in Eaton, Ind. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
