Phillip B. Bischoff, 73, of Hamilton, Indiana, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at his home.
Phillip was born on June 6, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to William Bischoff and Donna (Yerrington) Bischoff Bellis. He graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Phillip married Tina M. Gidea on September 7, 1996.
He was proud to serve in the United State Army National Guard.
He had been President of AIW Union at Valspar. Then he became an International Representative for the USW retiring in 2012.
Surviving is his wife, Tina M. Bischoff of Hamilton, Indiana; four children, Kristine (Greg) Allen of Laguna Beach, California, Court Bireley of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Justin (Daniele) Bischoff of Churubusco, Indiana and Alison (Matt) Brokaw of Albion, Indiana; four grandchildren; brother, Bill Bischoff of Eugene, Missouri and sisters, June (Peter) Genovesio of Spring Hill, Florida and Miriam Boyce of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robin Bischoff.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Indiana.
Military Honors will be immediately following the service at the funeral home by the Hamilton American Legion, Franklin R. Fee Post 467.
Memorial donations may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County.
