Rance A. (McCoy) Buehrer

Rance A. Buehrer, 90, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at his home.

Rance was born October 2, 1935, in Avilla, Indiana to Joseph and Alreada (McCoy) Buehrer.  He graduated from Avilla High School and finished his schooling at International Business College in Fort Wayne and the De Salle Institute in Chicago, Illinois.

He married the love of his life, Suzanne E. Leiter on September 30, 1961, at the Huntertown United Methodist Church.

Rance was a CPA and retired from Buehrer & Tilbury CPA.

He was proud to serve in the United States Army.

Rance was a former member of the Angola United Methodist Church, Pleasant Lake Lions Club and the Angola Lions Club.

He enjoyed golfing and bowling and loved spending time with family.

Surviving are his sons , Brett (Michelle) Buehrer of Angola, Indiana and Brian Buehrer of Angola, Indiana; four grandchildren, Mitchell Buehrer, Brittany Nelson, Lindsay (Joe) Sevits and Levi Buehrer and his two great-grandchildren, Eligh Nelson and Arbor Sevits.

He was preceded by his parents, wife, Suzanne E. Buehrer on January 7, 2008, brother, Merton Buehrer and sister, Audrey Halferty.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at South Scott Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.
