Randall L. Baird

Randall L. Baird, 63, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Randall was born on April 3, 1960, in Auburn, Indiana to Charles and Shirley (Clark) Baird.  He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1978.  He received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University.

Randall married the love of his life, Laura Schantz, on February 3, 2001.

He worked at Industrial Contracting & Engineering in Angola, Indiana.

Randall enjoyed fishing and sitting in his beach chair overlooking the Caribbean.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is his loving wife of 22 years, Laura Baird of Fremont, Indiana; his daughters, Elamie (Kyle) Hartman of Albion, Indiana and Ashley (Brad) Rittner of Toledo, Ohio and his 5 beloved grandchildren.  Also surviving is his brother, Kip (Darlene) Baird of Auburn, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeffrey Baird.

Private services will be held at a later date.
