Robert Keith Elston

Robert Keith Elston, 79, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana.

 He was born on April 22, 1942, in Albion, Michigan to Jay and Mariellen (Sier) Elston.  He married Ginny Rapp on July 30, 1988.

 Robert was a press operator at Moores Business Forms, later known as R.R. Donnelley, Angola, Indiana.

 He served his country in the US Navy.

 Robert is a member of the Faith Baptist Church, Angola, Indiana for 25 years.

 He is survived by his wife, Ginny Elston of Angola, Indiana; sons, Jim Elston of Angola, Indiana, William Elston of Florida, Todd Hinen of Angola, Indiana and Chad Hinen of Angola, Indiana; daughters, Cheri King of Angola, Indiana, Julie Slate of Woodburn, Indiana and Connie Sholl of Angola, Indiana; brother, John (Sue) Elston of Fort Wayne, Indiana and sister, Shirley VanDyne of Angola, Indiana and first wife, Karen Halladay of Fremont, Indiana.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shelley Elston; twin brother whom died at birth, daughter-in-law, Kim Elston and his second wife, Judy Elston.

 Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Faith Baptist Church in Angola, Indiana with Pastor Denver Dekeyser officiating.

 Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM on Thursday prior to the service at the church.

 Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana with Military Honors by the Angola American Legion Post 31 and the Navy Honor Guard.
