Robert M. Enyeart

Robert M. Enyeart, 83, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at his home in Angola, Indiana.

He was a co-owner of Bodie Printing for 20 years.  He also worked at the Steuben County Sheriff Department for 23 years.  During that time he was a Sheriff’s Reserve, a Deputy and the Sheriff of Steuben County from 1987-1990.  Most recently he had worked at the Angola Walmart Photo Lab for 12 years.

Robert was born on January 7, 1934 in Marion, Indiana to Maxwell and Zella (Russell) Enyeart.  He married Barbara A. Bodie on May 25, 1958.

He was a Charter member of the Presbyterian Chapel of the Lakes, Angola, Indiana; NRA and the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.

Surviving are his children, Chad (Annessa) Enyeart of Angola; Melissa (Tim) Tritch of Hudson and Michael Enyeart.  Also surviving are his 6 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Russell Enyeart and sister Maxine Davidson.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Stroh Church of Christ with Pastor Mike Hamm officiating.

Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, Heartland Hospice or to Lakeland Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana.
