Rose E. Enault, 77, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Born on March 24, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, Rose was the daughter of Willam G. and Evelyn J. (Hilla) Enault. 

She graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1967.  Rose was one of the first women to be a member of the FFA in Cheboygan, Michigan.  Rose received her Veterinary Assistant degree from Michigan State University.

Rose was in her element when she was working for Dr. Hornbacher and later Dr. Headley at Grandview Veterinary Clinic in Angola.  She absolutely loved working with the animals and they loved seeing her.

Rose also worked at Rural King in Angola, Indiana for over 20 years before retiring.

She was a member of the Council on Aging.

Rose enjoyed reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, and sewing.

Surviving are her siblings, Dee E. Enault of Angola, Indiana and Charles (Mary) Enault of Holton, Kansas; sister-in-law, Loretta Enault of Naches, Washington; Niece, Lorenda Enault and her daughter Lillith; Niece, Limetta Enault and her son, William; Nephew, Donald P. Lee of Omaha, Nebraska and his daughter Erika;

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Leonard Enault and Donna Keiser.

A Celebration of Life will be from 10-12 Noon, August 1, 2026, at SonLight Community Church, 455 N. Gerald Lett Avenue, Angola, IN  46703.
