Ruby Ann Jones, 93, of Angola, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, Indiana.

Born March 20, 1933, in Huntington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Frank and Edith (Kessler) Love.  She graduated from Harlan High School in 1950 and received her nursing degree from IPFW.

Ruby was a Psychiatric Registered Nurse in Coldwater and Fort Wayne retiring in 1989.

She married Ralph Edward Jones on July 6, 1953.

Ruby was a member of the Angola Moose Auxiliary, Warsaw American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. 

Ruby was an amazing artist and enjoyed painting with oils, she enjoyed any wildlife, especially mice and moose, antiquing and crystals.  She also loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Jimm E. (Lisa) Jones of Angola, Indiana, Todd W. (Marcia) Jones of Angola, Indiana, Benn (Denise) Jones of Lorraine, Ohio, Matt W. (Susie) Jones of Angola, Indiana, Will (Marilyn) Jones of Angola, Indiana and Beverly (Cary) Baird of Angola, Indiana; stepdaughter, Barbara Wolf of Angola, Indiana; and her sister Lela Turpin of Willis, Texas.  Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents; the love of her life, Ralph Edward Jones in 2005; her grandchildren, Justin Jones, Shamra Jones and Cary Baird II; and her siblings, Bill Love, Stanley Love and Walter Love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 314 W. Maumee Street, Angola, Indiana.  Rev. Nikki Shaw will be officiating.
