Sandra J. (Prior) Kunce

Sandra J. Kunce, 87, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care Center in Angola, Indiana.

She was born on June 22, 1938, in East Liberty, Ohio to Charles B. and Thelma R. (Jackson) Prior. 

Sandra married Albert “Lee” Kunce on January 3, 1955.

She was a charter member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ, Angola, Indiana.

Sandra had worked at K & H Pharmacy until they closed, then went to Rite Aid Pharmacy and JC Penny in Angola, Indiana before retiring.

Surviving are her sons, Richard Lee Kunce of Angola, Indiana, Charles Clair Kunce of Pleasant Lake, Indiana and Robert Scott (Lori) Kunce of Summerville, South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Robert Prior, Karen Sigl and Rita (Steve) Cornelius.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Albert “Lee” Kunce on April 5, 2022.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Pleasant View Church of Christ in Angola, Indiana with Michael D. Booher, Minister officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana.

Memorial donations in memory of Sandra may be made to Pleasant View Church of Christ, Angola, Indiana.
