Shirley Anne (Eyster) Willibey

Shirley Anne Willibey, 88, of Hamilton, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, at TrueCare in Auburn, Indiana.

Shirley was born March 10, 1936, in Angola, Indiana, to Isaac Edward and Elsie Jane (Harbaugh) Eyster.a

She married Donnell Dean “Rye” Willibey on Aug. 14, 1954. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2015.

She was a member of North Scott Christian Church in Steuben County, Indiana, Hamilton Red Hats, and Hamilton Homemakers Extension Club. She enjoyed winters in Harlingen, Texas.

Surviving are her children, Debbie (Raymond) Chrysler, of Goshen, Indiana, Kevin Willibey, of Angola, Indiana, and Kim (Diana) Willibey, of Angola, Indiana; four grandchildren, Sara (Matthew) Dirks, Kory Willibey, Kirsten (Chris) Pendarvis and Tana (Jacob) Perreira; six great-grandchildren, Simon Dirks, Kahle Willibey, Kade Willibey, Kleo Willibey, Allison Pendarvis and Elijah Perreira; and sister, Doris Aileen Shumaker.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Melody Willibey; grandson, Timothy Sisco; and siblings, Donald Eyster, John Eyster and Larry Eyster.

Per her wishes, private graveside services will be held at a later date.
