Steven Paul Ickes, Jr.

Steven Paul Ickes, Jr., 55, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 25, 2024 in Auburn, Indiana.

Steven was born on February 18, 1969, in Angola, Indiana to Steven Paul and Janet (Chiddister) Ickes.  He graduated from Angola High School in 1987 and received his bachelor’s degree from Tri-State University, Angola, Indiana.

Steven worked for PFG in Kendallville, Indiana.

He enjoyed playing golf and playing poker tournaments.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his two beloved German Shepherds.

Surviving are his mother, Janet Ickes of Auburn, Indiana; brother, Troy (Angela) Ickes of Auburn, Indiana and sister, Stacie Gaiski of Angola, Indiana.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Paul Ickes on July 30, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Sonlight Community Church, 455 N. Gerald Lett Ave., Angola, Indiana  46703.
