Terry Lee Miller

Terry Lee Miller, 64, of Avilla, Indiana, passed away after his battle with cancer on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at his Avilla residence with family by his side.

Terry was born on December 5, 1958, in Auburn, Indiana.  He graduated from Angola High School in 1977.

Terry was proud to serve in the Army National Guard for 24 years.  Five of those years were in active duty.

He had numerous jobs throughout his adult life.

On October 28, 2006, Terry married the love of his life, Jennifer “Jenny” Murphy.

Terry enjoyed watching and going to races, especially for NASCAR and out at the Angola Motor Speedway.  He also enjoyed fishing and was a long-time Green Bay Packers fan.

Surviving is his loving wife of 17 years, Jennifer “Jenny” Miller of Avilla, Indiana; three daughters, Bethany Fielding of Kentucky, Christina Fiddle of Indiana and Jenna (Dallas) Fiddle of Florida; son, Kaleb Bryant of Avilla, Indiana, his mother, Judy Doehrman of Angola, Indiana; brothers, Tim Miller of Georgia and Mike (Laura) Miller of Indiana; one sister, Sara (Ken) Wright of Angola, Indiana and one sister-in-law, Tammy (Miller) Benson, Garrett, Indiana.  Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Morgan, Alexis, Preston, Austin and Joshua.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Doehrman; son, Travis Miller; brother, Jerry Miller, his grandparents, his aunt and his uncles.

Military Honors, by the Orland American Legion Post 423 and the United States Army Honor Guard, will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Weicht Funeral Home, 207 N. West Street, Angola, IN  46703.

Visitation will be from 10-12 Noon on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, prior to the service at the Weicht Funeral Home, 207 N. West Street, Angola, IN  46703.
