Troy Snellenberger Obituary

Troy Alan Snellenberger, 44, of Angola, Indiana, passed peacefully at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Born on September 19, 1978, in Boynton Beach, Florida, he was the son of the late George A. Snellenberger and Marcy Bane. 

Troy had a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a member of the Fremont American Legion.

He married Laura A. Smith on April 11, 2021.

Troy was self-employed.  He dabbled at many things and was a wonderful handyman, husband and father.

Troy enjoyed nature, being outdoors, gardening and camping.  He was a kind person and strove to live a harmonious life.  Most importantly, he loved getting to know his children and spending time with them.

Troy is survived by his loving wife, Laura A. Snellenberger of Angola, Indiana; his beloved children, Kaitlyn, Konnor, Karma and Olivia; cousin, Roxanne Voirol of Kendallville, Indiana; and brothers, Tristan Snellenberger of Boynton Beach, Florida, Thane Snellenberger of Boynton Beach, Florida and Chad Lane; his aunt, Helen Snellenberger and uncle, Scott Snellenberger.

Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.

Fremont American Legion will host a Celebration of Life immediately following the visitation.

Memorials donations may be made to the family for his children in care of Laura Snellenberger.
