Vernon Elton Strang, 90, of Fremont, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care Center, Angola, Indiana.
Vernon was born on August 29, 1935, in Fremont, Indiana to Glendon and Winnie (Camp) Strang. He graduated from Scott Center High School, Steuben County, Indiana.
Vernon has been married to the love of his life Phyllis Smith for over 71 years.
Vernon and Winnie owned and operated V&P Printing in Fremont, Indiana.
He had been a member of the local Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed taking motorcycle trips and had almost driven his bike in every state. Most of all he loved spending time with family.
Surviving is his loving wife, Phyllis Strang of Fremont, Indiana; his children, Rick Strang of Angola, Indiana, Pam Maxwell of Pheonix, Arizonia, Randy Strang of Prescott, Arizonia and Rus (Brigelle) Strang of Angola, Indiana. Also surviving are his 3 beloved grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glendon Strang, Jr.
There will be no services at this time.
Final resting place will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana.
