Virginia E. Crody, 84, of Hamilton, Indiana, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at her home in Hamilton, Indiana.
Virginia was born on October 27, 1940, in Linton, Indiana, to Alex Zander and Mary Ella (Sumner) Wright. She graduated from Lyons High School in Lyons, Indiana.
Virginia had worked at Hargers Meats in Hamilton, Indiana and for Key Plastics in Hamilton, Indiana before retiring.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Butler, Indiana and a member of the Hamilton American Legion Post 467 Auxiliary.
Surviving are her sons, James D. Crody of Hamilton, Indiana and Byron K. and Tennelle (Quick ) Crody of Angola, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Rosie (Baldridge) Crody; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Moses Gene Crody on October 3, 1994; son, Kevin Gene Crody on December 6, 2022 and sister, Barbara DeCaro on April 21, 2025.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Bethel Cemetery in Hamilton, Indiana.
