Walter Glenn Bidlack

Walter Glenn Bidlack, 81, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Indiana.

He was born on March 10, 1942, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Ford S. and Lois C. (Donaldson) Bidlack.  Walter graduated from Jewel High School in Jewel, Ohio.

Walter retired from Tri-State University, Angola, Indiana, where he worked in the maintenance department and enjoyed farming.

He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Hamilton American Legion, Franklin R. Fee Post 467. 

He was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola, Indiana.  He had also been a member of the Steuben County Antique Tractor Club.  He enjoyed going to Tractor shows with his friends.

Surviving are his two sons, Doug (Heidi) Bidlack of Pleasant Lake, Indiana and Matt (Linda) Bidlack of Angola, Indiana; daughter, Laurie (Jeff) Goble of Richmond, Indiana and three sisters, Kathy Buell of Stryker, Ohio, Joni (Tom) Traxler of Pioneer, Ohio and Pam (Mike) Johnson of Defiance, Ohio.  Also surviving are his 8 beloved grandchildren and 13 beloved great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha (Schroeder) Bidlack; granddaughter, Kelli Bidlack; three brothers, Larry Bidlack, Ora Bidlack and Darwin Bidlack and one sister, Janet Bidlack.

Memorial Services will be at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Fairview Missionary Church, Angola, Indiana.  Pastor Joel Greenwood will be officiating.
