Charlene S. Rensch, 68, of Angola, Indiana passed away suddenly on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on November 9, 1950 in Angola, Indiana to Kermit L. and Doris P. (Harter) Rensch.

In her younger years she showed Holstein Dairy cows at the Steuben County 4-H Fair.  She was very active with the 4-H program and helped promote her family’s scholarship, “The Rensch Family 4-H Scholarship”, for local 4-H club members.

She also enjoyed all kinds of auto racing.  She did timing and scoring for the SCCA.  Charlene was a very good seamstress and made wall hangings, blankets and quilts.

Surviving are her brother, Harley H. (Judy) Rensch of Corunna, Indiana; nephew, Matthew (Andrea) Rensch of Indianapolis, Indiana; two nieces, Amanda (Jerry Worman) Hissong of Corunna, Indiana and Sarah (Zach) Hissong Shull of Hamilton, Indiana.  Also surviving are her two great-nephews, Logan Worman and Rudy Shull.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at South Scott Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Charlene’s memory to the Steuben County Community Foundation for the Rensch Family 4-H Scholarship.

To Harley, Judy & Families; One thing to keep in mind is that she is at peace and in no pain. I know she will be missed by all. Harley that road is a hard one to walk, but you have a very supportive family behind you. Gods Blessings to all of you now and forever.
