James W. Spears 68 of Angola, Indiana passed away Wednesday March 3, 2010 in Cameron Memorial Hospital, Angola, Indiana. James retired from Consolidated Freightways, Fremont, Indiana where he was a Supervisor. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. James was born January 9, 1942 in Lenoir City, Tenn. to James P. and Evelyn Kirkland Spears. Surviving are two sons, Andy Spears of Angola, Indiana and Brad Spears of Cromwell, Indiana; three daughters, Beth Richardson of Angola, Indiana, Tiena Manypenny of Wichita, Kansas and Marla Shelton of Anderson, Indiana along with his former wife Carol Spears. Also surviving are his 10 Grandchildren, Branden Manypenny, Kayli Manypenny, Lucas Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Riley Spears, Nicholas Spears, Cody Spears, Zach Spears, Christina Morrison and Britany Plummer Caldwell and 2 Great-grandchildren. Precededing him in death are his parents, one daughter, Angie Plummer and one grandson Jordan Plummer. Memorial Services will be 7:00 PM Monday March 8, 2010 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorials are to the Steuben County Humane Society, Angola, Indiana.
