ANGOLA - Linda D. Sebring, 66, of Angola died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Mrs. Sebring was a retired librarian for Tri-State University and Carnegie Public Library and had substituted at several public schools. She had also taught for the Department of Defense in Germany. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Purdue University. Mrs. Sebring was a member of Fairview Missionary Church in Angola, Tri Kappa Sorority and several sewing clubs at Sewing Solutions. She was born July 30, 1945, in Louisville, Ky., to Claude and Nelle (Harris) Davis. She married Lynn G. Sebring on July 31, 1975. He survives in Angola. Also surviving are her father, Claude Davis of Princeton; two daughters, Karen McCrumb of Auburn and Amy and David McMillen of Angola; a brother, Bruce Davis of Princeton; two sisters, Claudia and Daniel Pear of Peru and Suzanne and Rich Rudman of West Lafayette; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nelle Harris Davis; and a granddaughter, Michele McCrumb. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fairview Missionary Church in Angola with the Rev. Norm Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery at Angola. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola. We were saddened to hear of Linda's passing. Linda visited our family (W/ Uncle Don) frequently in the 60's. Dad thought a lot of her too. Our deepest sympathies to the family. We were glad Linda go to come and visit us in Harrison County a couple of years ago. Cousins Jeff and Kim
