"...for he knows how we are formed,he remembers that we are dust. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children..." Psalm 103:14-17 NIV. By the hand of our loving Savior Jesus, you're lead to the side of our Father God and the love of your life,Husband Thomas. Peace and love to you Grandma.

Helen was my first Stephen Ministry Care Receiver the last several months she lived in New Haven. She was a spunky lady and I admired her love of life. Celebrate her life as you remember the wonderful memories each of you have of her. In sympathy Marilyn Eley

Thank you God for my special realationship with our Mom. Although for a period of time I protected her from my immediate family health problems, we reunited and confessed our continued appreciation of our mature love. I cherish the video recordings her first born son, Thomas J. Bender, Jr., and I made of our visits. Yes, she was a "spunky" woman and after total comprehension of her complex behavior, she was well understood and more appreciated. May she find peace in her painless re-connection with her first and only true innocent love of our father, Thomas J. Bender, Sr. 12.12.84.

Mom was my best friend. I owe her everything. She would have been extremely proud of all the arrangements and the visitations which she received. Thanks to all and especially thanks to Weichts, for their compassion and attention to detail throughout those days. Mom would agree, they certainly lived up to their mission. Could not have been more beautiful for our family. Thanks to everyone.
