Louise J. Knudsen, 99, of Angola, Indiana, passed away, December 14, 2011 at Lakeland Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana. She was born February 1, 1912 in Calumet, Michigan to John Leland and Lyle (Jones) Richards. She married Walter Knudsen. Louise was a homemaker in her own home. She was a member of the Angola Church of Christ and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lake Michigan Chapter, Michigan City, IN. She is survived by her son-In-Law John Howell of Angola, IN; a granddaughter Cheryl Donaldson of Tampa, Florida; a great-granddaughter Annaliese Donaldson-Pham of Tampa, Florida and a sister Myrle Seaverins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Knudsen (1976); one son Walter Knudsen Jr. (1935); two daughters Marilu Donaldson (2007), Carol Howell (2009); one son-in-law Dwight Donaldson (2003) and a grandson Tom Donaldson (1973). Private Services will be held at a Later Date. Burial will be in Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeland Nursing Center in Memory of Louise J. Knudsen.
