Marjorie A. Sumney, 89, of Angola died on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Angola.
She was a computer operator and programmer for Charter Bank in Michigan, formerly known as First Federal of Michigan. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont.
Mrs. Sumney was born on May 21, 1928, in Fort Wayne to Clyde O. and Eva (Blann) Creager. She married Eugene D. Sumney on Aug. 18, 1951, and he survives in Angola. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dr. Ray Creager and Keith Creager; and her sister, Helen Malott.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont with Rev. Jeffrey S. Teeple officiating.
Calling will be from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Thursday at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with calling from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the graveside service at the chapel in the cemetery.
Memorials are to Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont or to Heartland Hospice in Fort Wayne.

I'm so sorry to hear about my friend passing. She was the most friendly/nicest person I know. We have worked together at First Federal for many years. We have always met for lunch every year until she got sick. You will be miss.
