Daniel Shockome, 84, of Angola, Indiana passed away at his home on the morning of July 14th, 2019.

Dan was born on November 15, 1934, in Huntington, Indiana, the son of Francis and Ruby Shockome.
He married Karen (Potts) on February 29, 1996

He was a United States Army Korean War veteran.  He managed the Clark Station in Angola for 34 years.

Dan enjoyed playing cards and board games.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and camping.  He also enjoyed riding his Gold Wing, bowling and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Shockome of Angola, Indiana; children, Steve Shockome, Arizona, Danny (Chris) Shockome, Michigan, Kenny Shockome, Michigan, Theresa Keefer, Indiana, David (Michelle) Ellis, Indiana, Bob (Heather) Ellis, Indiana, John (Joy) Ellis, Indiana, and Norm Ellis, Indiana; siblings, Pat (Bill) Wright, Indiana and Debbie of Florida 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Ruby and 3 Brothers Jay, Mike and Fritz and a sister Mary.

Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana on Thursday, July 18th at 10-11 AM with Funeral Mass following at 11:00 AM.  

Burial with military honors by the Angola American Legion and the US Army will be immediately following at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Waterloo, Indiana.

Memorials are to the Angola Kids League.
